Larry Whitaker

Larry and his wife, Lynda, moved to a ranch in the Sutherlin area  thirty years ago after selling their business in Southern California. Two years latter, we bought a six-month-old business, Big B Rentals on Central Avenue in Sutherlin, which we owned for four years. 

In 2006, Larry became the Administrator, then Administrative Pastor for Family Church. He and Lynda sold the ranch in 2015 and moved into town. In 2017, he retired from the church. Lynda and he then spent the next two years traveling around the country in their motor home. 

Larry is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce. In 2022, was elected City Counciler serves as Chairman of the Budget Committee and Parks Advisory Committee. He is also a Board member of Friends of Ford's Pond.
